Strelka Institute
Moscow, 2013–14

Urban Routines is the theme for Strelka’s 2013–14 research programme. The programme was devoted to the studies of the most common, trivial, everyday matters focusing on four main themes: Dwelling, Offices, Retail (the different spaces and places where our everyday lives unfolds) and Сars (commuting between them). Student research, public lectures, and talks on Urban Routines constitute an attempt to figure out what the everyday life of Russian cities is made of. The graphic identity acts as a visual primer to the complex concerns of the institute. The extensive toolkit of icons can be used to create abstract/evocative communications as well as articulating precise statistical content presented during the end of year exhibition.
