Patcharavipa, Movements Campaign

“Movements”, Patcharavipa’s campaign for Spring/Summer 2018 campaign examines themes of presentation, representation and the space between conception and perception. The resulting photographs, shot by Senta Simond, document 3 scenes and oblique interactions with a variety of abstract materials, from a series of perspectives.

The material from the campaign is presented primarily in a printed catalogue. Stills from video recordings are placed in a defined structure, serving as a foundation. Full color plates tipped in by hand and wrapped throughout the contents are combined with a text written by Jack Self. Each book, measuring 18 × 11 × 2cm, is individually wrapped in Japanese hand-made paper and produced by Bookworks, London.
