OK-RM are looking to recruit a designer in their London-based studio. This is an important role in-which the successful applicant will work with clients, commissioners and collaborators across all studio projects.


– Liaise with and take on specific responsibilities from OK and RM
– Concept and design development
– Image research and proposal building
– Working closely with OK and RM to create project presentations, objects and materials
– Working collaboratively
– Design and management of projects (print, spatial, digital) from beginning through to completion
– General design and production assistance
– Artwork and specifications
– Develop identity guidelines
– Develop specification guidelines for print and web

Project Management
– Liaising with clients and commissioners
– Liaising with collaborators
– Maintaining organised notes and process documentation
– Ability to manage time and work on multiple projects simultaneously

Studio Management
– Archiving project file copies
– Website updates (image preparation and upload)

Skills & Experience
– Experience delivering design and art-direction projects in the cultural sector
– Experience conceptualising, designing and developing projects across print and digital media
– Demonstrable experience working with web design, HTML and an ability to work with digital developers
– Great attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
– Experience in project management and the overseeing of post-production, pre-press, and press
– Experience with and knowledge of print techniques, paper stocks, and binding methods
– Effective communicator
– Sophisticated eye for typography and an understanding of its history
– A broad interest in design, photography, fashion, art and architecture.
– Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and After Effects)
– SketchUp (beneficial)
– Type design/Programming/Model making (beneficial)
